“I didn’t really have any expectations going in,” she continued. “I had never really thought about what it would be like, but I’m glad I decided to do it.”
Though a lot of good comes with switching gears and creating one’s own content, every job also comes with some challenges. We asked Danica about some things other people think are easy about her job — but are actually really challenging.”
“Filming and editing most of the content myself [is challenging],” she said. “I am extremely critical of myself so it’s not easy and I have constant restarts. I can’t just turn on the camera and produce a perfect video. I wish!”
She also added that, “finding creators to film with seems like it should be easy, but it proves very difficult. They think it’s just having sex on camera, but I’m particular. When I go into what I expect from them I tend to scare people off.”

Loyalfans: We all know that being an online content creator is a 24/7 job. How do you keep up with the workflow and demands of today’s industry?
Danica Danali: Consistency is key! You also have to be super organized. I have two planners that are exactly the same. I keep one in my living room and one in my office. I update them both every few days. I have a content journal for content ideas, a customs journal to plan out custom requests and a financial journal to track income from all platforms.
It is definitely a 24/7 job. I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with ideas and have a notepad by my bed just for those.
What’s your favorite feature on Loyalfans?
I love the media cloud! I am so impressed that I can make multiple folders within the cloud and post directly from them. I love it.
I also really like the shout out feature. That was a genius idea!
What was your first big online goal you ever wanted to hit?
I think all of our goals involve making money. My goals for content creating are to simply post daily. Whether it’s a selfie, a full video or a short GIF, post something daily and the fans will follow.
People often feel A LOT of pressure to get a bunch of gear when they first start creating content online. What do you think are the most useful things to have when you’re very first starting out?
I use a large, bright ring light and my phone. That’s it. My biggest upgrade specifically for content creating was my phone. I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It has 8k video capabilities and 1.5T of space with expandable memory. A good camera is essential, but phones these days are pretty good so there’s no real need for an additional expensive camera.
What’s your go-to selfcare activity of choice?
Sometimes I take a morning off and record a bunch of videos of myself singing my favorite songs to karaoke I find online. They don’t get posted, but I love singing and it really burns off any stress. Second runner up is a good nap!
Working from home can sometimes feel isolating. What do you do to help stave off feelings of loneliness or isolation?
It is definitely an isolating job. I don’t have anything I do daily to help, but going to expos can definitely help make everything feel more real and fun, and it’s a great place to make a ton of content with other creators!
Besides working, what’s your favorite pastime or hobby?
I love baking breads and treats! French bread is my favorite, and brownies are my favorite treat.
