We recently got to “watch” Hazel… by way of asking her a few questions and learning a few things about her life and her work on Loyalfans — read on!

Loyalfans: How did you start in the business? Is it different from what you expected?
HazelMeadows: I started modeling and taking nudes as a way to battle body dysmorphia. Seeing myself through someone’s eyes was a game changer for me.
As far as expectations, I tried not to have any. I know this business is often seen as a ~sexy side hustle~, but the truth is, it depends on your market, your clientele, and anything else that goes into running a brand.
How do you keep up with the workflow and demands of today’s industry?
I like setting specific days for things! Admin work on Mondays, custom shoots on Thursdays, stuff like that. I stay flexible with the day itself, but it helps to put my tasks in little boxes.
What are some things people think are easy about your job but are actually really challenging?
It’s really tough to be so perpetually online, especially with so many spaces being anti-SW. One other thing I’ve found is that some people will just never understand that this is a job, not a cute hobby.
What’s your favorite feature on Loyalfans?
The video store is awesome! I like that non-subscribers can access my content
What is your first big online goal you want to hit?
It might seem small, but my big goal right now is to make $1,000 in custom sales in one month.
Gear-wise, what do you think are the most useful things to have when you’re very first starting out?
All you need to start creating is a solid background and good lighting. Buying a tripod/ring light is probably the best thing to invest in right away.
What is the one key piece of advice you have for other models and creators?
Create what you want to create. Be firm with your boundaries. Safety first, always.
How do you foster a good relationship with your fans?
Keep up the fantasy, but be as genuine as you’re comfortable with. Also keep in mind that it’s still customer service, so smile and practice your best “Welcome to chili’s!!” voice!
How do you keep coming up with new ideas for your content and fans?
I try to make content that I would want to see. Also, a great support group of other creators is an excellent source of inspiration.
What’s your favorite holiday or event to celebrate with your fans?
ALL OF THEM! I love to celebrate!
What’s your favorite type of content to shoot (and why)?
I’ve been getting really into roleplay videos lately! It’s fun to stretch the acting muscles.
Be it online or in person, have you ever attended an industry trade event?
I have not, but I would love to! It would be so great to meet other creators.
Besides working, what’s your favorite pastime or hobby?
I play a lot of video games. I’m super into tactics and strategy games, but I also love things like the Sims! Otherwise, you can probably find me bingeing re-runs of King of the Hill.
What’s your sign? Is it an accurate description of you?
I dare you to find a more typical Gemini than me. I love to laugh, talk shit, and I’m really fun to be around! I’m the funniest person I know!
Who is your peer mentor, inspiration, or someone you just admire or respect in the industry?
I have a lot of peers that I admire in this industry, but today I’ll pinpoint Willow Raven. She’s not only badass, super hot, and hilarious, she’s also a friend of mine in real life and I’m so proud of her and her very well deserved success!
