Ways to Promote Your LoyalFans Page

Ways to Promote Your LoyalFans Page

This is meant to be an exhaustive guide on methods and strategies for marketing your LoyalFans page.

Think of this as a brainstorming resource. When you’re trying to think of what you might be able to do to drive fans to your page, you can scan this page for ideas.

This guide will be updated as needed… Here we go!

Court repeat customers

The most efficient marketing strategy is to hang onto your existing customers. They’ve already demonstrated a willingness to spend money on your product. So once you have a base of purchasing fans, they should be your primary focus.

There are several ways you can do that, including:

  • Forming (at least the illusion of) real connections with your fans…make them feel like they matter.
  • Be personal in your posts. Let them into your world. They’ll feel like a friend and will be less likely to cancel.
  • Be consistent with your content releases. This builds trust and a sense of value. Also, the more you can get them back to your page, the more habitual it becomes; they won’t want to lose access to that.
  • Message them regularly to remind them to come to your page. Again, we’re creating habits.

Court existing followers on other platforms

If you already have people following you elsewhere, that’s the best place to start.

Anywhere you have eyeballs looking at you, you have potential customers for your LoyalFans page.

Use social media

We’re in the business of selling connections with our fans. How do we do that?

The best way is by using free social media channels. Build an audience on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, or wherever makes the most sense for what you’re offering.

Discussion forums and Reddit

If there are popular forums or subreddits dedicated to your particular niche, you could make yourself a presence there.
Remember that forum users and moderators don’t like spam, so you can’t just bust in demanding attention. Instead, start by becoming a part of the discussions and starting your own. And to the extent that they allow it, post some content.
Just be careful to read the forum’s rules beforehand.

Owned media

Personal sites
If you run your own website(s), link to your LoyalFans in a prominent location.
If you don’t have a website, it’s something to consider. At the least, you could get a custom domain name using your LoyalFans name and forward it to a Linktree (or similar) page. Then place your LoyalFans link at the top of that page. There’s a good chance that the page will rank on Google for your name.
Email lists
If you have an email list you’ve built, such as a newsletter, this is probably the best way to push people toward your LoyalFans page. These are people who have already expressed an interest in hearing from you, so there’s a good chance they’d be interested in your LoyalFans subscription.
Provide free content to followers
Offering free content to your followers is a great way to tease them and encourage them to become paid subscribers.
Don’t give away too much, though. Think of the pain you’ve felt when teased with just enough of something to make you want it more. That’s what you should be doing here. The content should be real, but it should not be entirely satisfying…like a sample of dessert that makes them want the entire serving.

Create a funnel from your free posts to your subscription

This means creating a workflow around your product to draw people into your page as followers, then persuade them to purchase a full subscription.
Your daily workflow might look something like this:
1. Get on your preferred social media platform and interact with potential fans, building your following.
2. Schedule teaser images and videos to post regularly for your free followers.
3. Schedule your premium content for your paid subscribers.
4. Engage with your subscribers by responding to DMs and comments.

Look at the followers of similar creators

You can see some of these followers on their social media pages. Look for promising prospective customers and engage with them. Respond to their comments. Send a DM if you like (taking care not to harass people who ask not to be DMed).

Share one another’s content

So if you see a similar creator tweeting something you find compelling, retweet it, and maybe they’ll be willing to do the same for you. If you nearly find a customer before realizing they’re into something a little different, refer them to a creator who might work better for them.

It’s essential that creators do their best to stick together and lift one another up.

Collaborate with other creators

Not only can creators help one another with casual promotion, but you can also collaborate on content and promotional campaigns.

Shoot a video together. Do a live stream together. Team up to promote the content across all of your marketing channels. This gives you access to the other creator’s fans, making it mutually beneficial.

Note: if you’re new, it may be challenging to pull together a collaboration with a successful creator. We recommend finding other creators trying to get their pages off the ground. And once you have a decent subscriber base, try collaborating with other successful creators.

Follow relevant hashtags on social media

Find hashtags related to your niche and follow those hashtags. This will help you stay up-to-date on what’s happening within your niche and might reveal prospective fans and similar creators to follow.
Most social media platforms make this easy to do, but you can also enlist the help of 3rd party services like Sprout Social, Mention, or BuzzSumo.
Note: if you use a social listening tool, be sure to have it listen for mentions of your handle. This can reveal opportunities and alert you to bad press.

Create video content on free video platforms like YouTube

This can be a great way to tease your offerings. But this only works if you create compelling content. Posting a new video advertisement each week won’t get you very far. But if you teach or entertain people in a way that’s relevant to your LoyalFans subscription, you might discover some new fans.

Utilize free content sites

For adult creators, this could mean adult tube sites. For mainstream creators, this could be YouTube or other mainstream content sites.
The simple strategy is to create content, push it out to the platform’s massive free audience, and point those people to your LoyalFans page to see more.
The content should be designed to tease your LoyalFans rather than giving away the whole thing, but we recommend against making it too thin. If it’s a 30-second trailer for content they have to pay for, the audience will get annoyed and move on. Lure them with actual content, but withhold just enough to get them to your premium page.

Email signature

Email signatures are a great place to link to your Linktree or directly to your LoyalFans page.

Ask existing fans to promote your content

If you have an existing fanbase, ask them to share and promote your content. These are your fans. They subscribed because they like you. Sometimes, simply asking them to help promote a piece of content is enough to persuade them.
Just don’t overdo it.
