Creator Spotlight: Mistress T

“A lot of people ask how I got into the business. It’s a long and interesting story, so I wrote a book about it,” Mistress T explained.

Mistress T is originally from Nova Scotia. She moved to Vancouver when she was twenty and got into the adult business when she was around thirty. “I’m 44 now, so that’s closing in on fifteen years’ experience,” she shared.

Before adult work, she went to school for and worked in sales and marketing in various “vanilla” industries.

Mistress T loves nature, in particular, hot springs. “I’m also a fan of skinny dipping in rivers and lakes, even when they’re very cold,” she said. She also has a pet lovebird who is very social.

Small in stature, Mistress T packs a commanding presence. “I’m really tiny, just five feet tall, and my feet are so petite the smallest adult women’s shoes are sometimes too big,” she shared. “In videos and pics, the camera angle is usually low and my legs are long, giving me the illusion of height — fans are often surprised at my size when they meet me!”

Loyalfans: What about working online suits you the best? 

Mistress T: Working online allows me complete freedom of my schedule. I can work as much or as little as I want. For me, the most challenging thing is reading certain emails or messages. Sometimes messages are rude or unintelligent, and often the volume is just overwhelming.

When you think about your relationship with your most loyal fans, what stands out as the most important aspect?

The best fans I have are well mannered and financially generous. That is the best combination. Unfortunately, I simply don’t have time to give my attention to everyone who wants it, even if I might really enjoy connecting with them. I need to focus my attention on those who understand I’m running a business, value my time, and are able to compensate me fairly it. The generous tend to be lovely to connect with, as well. Cuckolds hold a special place in my heart.

What impact do you hope to have on the world at large?

I hope that my work leads to less stigmatization of sex work and more humanization of sex workers. Hopefully, that leads to safer working conditions and a safer world for sex workers. I also hope for more acceptance of kink and fetishes so people can explore and enjoy their sexuality without shame — unless shame is their kink!

If you could change one thing about today’s world, what would it be and why?

If I could change one thing about today’s world, I would have everyone see the similarities and not the differences in humans. Less divide — more equality, kindness, and working together to help every human have a good quality of life. To be treated fairly by each other, as well as having a comfortable and hygienic place to live, healthy food, clean water, access to medical care, mental health care, and education for anyone who wants it.
