Creator Spotlight: Nyssa Nevers

Nyssa Nevers, a self-described “true switch model,” is an active, vibrant presence on Loyalfans.com. She’s been in the business for almost nineteen years and, since the day she started her career, has never looked back.

“It’s been the most fun job with the most freedom to be creative and have control over my day,” she explained. “And I’ve met some amazing people along the way — intelligent businesspeople, respectable producers, very talented performers, awesome fans, the list goes on and on!”

We recently had the opportunity to interview Nevers about her career as a content creator – and what she loves about her most loyal fans.

Loyalfans: What did you do before you were an online content creator?

Nyssa Nevers: Oh, I held my fair share of jobs I disliked before I was an online content creator. I had been a model as a teen, then I worked as a waitress, in an emergency roadside incoming call center, and in a credit card company incoming call center. I also worked retail, showed homes for sale, worked at a used car dealership, and then I was a live in nanny before I got back into modeling, becoming a producer’s assistant.

When I was a nanny, I moved to a town where I didn’t know anyone, so I went on Myspace — so old, I know! — and started looking up people in my area that maybe I could make friends with. I saw a woman on there who had photos of herself in bondage. I immediately wrote to her and said something along the lines of “I see you are into bondage, so am I. We should probably be friends since I just moved here and have no friends.” I know, so lame, but it worked!

We became good friends, and she explained to me that she was a bondage model. Honestly, I had no clue that being a bondage model was even a thing! She explains this to me and asked if I might like to come check out a shoot with her. Of course, I say yes. I went to her shoot, and it was so cool! They asked me if I would like to model for them that day and they would also pay me. I was all about it!

I had a great time and got paid and wondered why I wasn’t already doing this. So, that’s how I got my start. Thank you, Mallory Knots!

What are some of the best things about working online? What about challenges?

Well, the best thing is that it’s always available. I can do work from my computer or my phone. It’s pretty convenient!

The most challenging thing is knowing when to give myself a break.  I’m a work horse, so it’s very easy for me to fall into working myself to death. I have ADD, and I took myself off of those medications a long time ago. They made me feel sick to my stomach and gave me headaches. I kinda dealt with my ADD in a way that once I start something, I fully immerse myself in it. I get “in the zone” so far that it can become an obsession sometimes. It’s hard to pull myself away from it because my brain is always going.

Being self-employed is great and also a pain in the ass. I have no employees. I do all my own editing and posting. So if I’m not working, no one is working and I have no one to blame but myself. Work is always on the mind when you are self-employed. It just is.

It seems like the online game is always changing and evolving — and I dig it. It’s pretty cool to see how things have changed since I first started in the business. Technology is amazing, isn’t it?!

What is your favorite type of content to produce?

My favorite content to produce is custom videos — mainly because I love hearing from my fans and catering to them. I love learning about all the different fetishes, and making a perfect video for someone is a truly rewarding feeling. To be told you did a job well and that the client loved the video service they received from me is amazing.

When it comes to content I film on my own, I am a bondage woman. I love bondage. That was and will always be my number one, ever since I was very young. I love filming all sorts of videos. Variety is the spice of life, and I’m super spicy! I film a lot of tickling, foot fetish, straitjacket, handcuffs, bound orgasms, and ballbusting videos, just to name a few.

And soon — hopefully — I’ll be shooting with my model friends again, so I’ll have a selection of models who will be available to star in my videos. My upcoming models so far consist of Christina Carter, Nadia White, Whitney Morgan, Adara Jordin, and Kendra James.  We are all just working on dates still, but will be announcing them in the hopefully near future.

When you’re not acting spicy and busting balls, what are you up to?

For hobbies, I do have quite a few… I’m an avid scuba diver. It’s absolutely my favorite thing to do. I love the beach and the water, so snorkeling, shelling, and paddle boarding are all high on my fun list too. Also, roller skating — quads, not in-line skates — reading, painting, embroidery, photography, and cooking. I’m a foodie, so cooking is very enjoyable! I love trying out a new recipe!

Also: I can cross one eye at a time and then switch which eye is being crossed — not a huge talent, but it’s mine.

When you think about your relationship with your most loyal fans, what stands out as the most important or influential aspect? How do your fans impact your life?

My fans mean everything to me! Without my fans, I certainly would not be able to do this for a living. What makes a fan stand out to me? Well, I absolutely notice fans individually when they order custom videos from me. It’s a good way to get to know the fan — what they like, what they don’t like, their expectations from me while being creative together on a project.  I love those interactions.

I also love when fans go on forums and praise the work I have done, whether it be a review on a custom video I created for them or a review on a video they purchased from my clips store. That truly means a lot to me that they would take their own time to let other people know I produce videos worth checking out. It’s beyond flattering and just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I love meeting fans at all the events as well. I’m very personable and love chatting with my fans, taking photos with them, and putting on stage shows with them as volunteers — it’s always a good time! With everything I do in the business, I try to think about my fans first: what would they like to see, what have they been requesting, what are they giving feedback on, and how can I become better for them?

What impact do you hope to have on your fans, as well as on the world at large? 

I hope that my work helps people reward themselves. Some people collect cars, others like jewelry. Hopefully, there are people who like collecting my videos. Everyone deserves nice things for the money they work so hard to earn, so I hope they feel like their money is well spent when they order custom videos from me or buy my clips. I hope that my videos give people pleasure and make them feel good. I hope that I’m satisfying my kinky fan base and can continue to do so for many years to come!

The impact I would like to have on my fans and the world in general? Well, for one, kindness above everything. Kindness costs nothing and should be passed around freely and often. I always treat everyone kindly and with respect, and I hope that people see that and feel that. If you want to make an impact on the world, be the thing you want to see. So, I spread kindness.

A message I would like to share with my fans, well, that’s simple: I appreciate each and every one of you! I appreciate your support and couldn’t do this without you all.

If you could change one thing about today’s world, what would it be and why?

I would love a world with less hate.  No racism, no prejudice towards things like sexual orientation, religion, beliefs, and so on. The less hate in the world, the more we are able to work together towards greater things, like cleaning up the planet!
